I'll keep coming here with fragmented asks bcz my mind is all over the place but chapter 22 was soooooooo much. This is pure command over your craft because you pack a lot of details in a chapter and even if it feels like a filler chapter the plot still moves forward with a lot of noteworthy moments.

This chapter had it all. It had friendship and fluff at the meal table. It had cute romantic flirty moments between OC and Kook. The vitriol that jimin brings to the gathering (he has some audacity to come sit at the table knowing he likes nobody and vice versa). That entire exchange of deep rooted feelings being thrown in their faces when Yoonmin clashed. OC finally regaining her power to place her emotions first instead of Sanguis and friends.

Vmins relationship needs a broader study bcz jimin is the definition of toxic rn. Taehyung is no better. I liked how OC said that his beautiful words are empty if he doesn't back them with actions and that's what has been missing. He swoops in like an aristocratic gentleman each time but is never present to defend OC like her man should. Honestly I never gave a fuck even when he was locked in that cellar and OC kept pining for him. He did single handedly sent her to her death and did betray her whatever the reasons were. He's mentally weak or maybe namjoon's hold was much stronger which also explains why jimin used to cower in his presence. (NAMJOON WAS SO FUCKING HOT IN SA I NEED HIM TO SHOW HIS EXTRA EVIL HOTNESS IN MV LIKE HE IS THAT ONE VILLAIN WHO'S GONNA MAKE YOU LIKE THEM BCZ HE TALKS SMART UNLESS HE DECIDES TO KILL YOU THIS IS MAKING ME WET)

and then i started sobbing here, literally.

this part really hurt, like really. to see him become so weak, scared and vulnerable as he cried and yet, tried to decline her help was heartbreaking. it showed how he was raised to act like a "man" all the time which are such toxic standards. you portrayed that really nicely and i admire you 🥺

but for his dad to hit him and leave marks- such a horrifying thought and im just SO FUCKING MAD AT HIS DAD LIKE BITCH FUCK OFF 😡🤬

tae deserves all the comfort, safety, love and affection and im so so glad and happy that he had the oc there for him in that moment.

they cleared their misunderstandings and sorted their differences. ofc it was a vulnerable moment too, a hard discussion but it had to be done. you wrote it so beautifully. it was SO VISIBLE that both their hearts were hurting but they decided to move past it and accept and i think it was really beautiful ❤
